I found out a week later he was a scammer, called EVERYBODY. Finally found a really nice lady at the American Embassy in Moldova, she helped me when nobody else would. She called the post office every day, and made sure that a stop shipping order was in place on my package. It finally arrived, and they sent it back. Here it is, 3 weeks later and I finally found out that I will be getting it back. Everything is delayed to Moldova, if it hasn't been long since you shipped it, there is still a chance.

My identity and credit card were used on december 13'th to register www.ny-trades.com on www.register.com on the 16th i found out and i called register.com and told them to shut it down. It was shut dowm promply but then on January 9th i found out the site was still up and i was still the registered owner of the site. I called up register.com again and told them to shut it down. The lady i spoke to was very confused. The account was closed but then reopened... but not payed for... she said it sounded very suspicious... to me it sounds like an inside job. I haven't proven that register.com is in on the scam or not but i have a feeling someone who works there is in on it too. I called ny-trades.com by phone but all i got was a answering machine... left many messages threatening police charges filed... reports filled.. told em my uncle is a lawyer... told em my grandfather is a federal magistrate judge in the state of new mexico... told em everything to get em scared but never recieved a call back. I'm in the process of geting a fradulent transaction form from my bank and i'm gonna have that in the police report. I'm also in the military so i'm getting the judge advocate and the osi involved on this because the military doesn't take kindly to people stealling military members identities. I was told by my flight supervisor the fbi will get involved since this was targeted at a goverenemt employee/official (me). I will update this as much as possible to let you all know about the progress i'm making thank you guyz

Do some research, call the phone companies and the international operators if you have to, it's worth it. Keep asking for the American Embassy in Moldova, somebody there can call the post office for you.

I have had ny-trade shut down 3 times !! there is some inside job stuff going on also maybe on other levels (former ebay employees?), I hope the fbi investigates a little deper now! there is another webhost that smells funny : www.register.it in italy, something very fishy is going on there as well. also have the fbi check on melbourne.it / melbourneit.com and melbourneit.com.au its all connected somehow ! good luck and let us know how things proceed !!!

The link to the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint form is shown there. Everyone needs to file with them. They collect that information and move it along to the appropriate investigating agencies.

The buyer used the same scam on me that they did on the first complaint on this site. The words are almost identical. I will call the FBI and report this asap. I could careless about the laptop I lost; I am intent on nailing this bastard. Is anyone interested if i make an extremely large issue out of this i.e. media, government, etc... This means i will be using the emails in this forum and requesting contact info for a compiled information website dedicated to nailing this mo-fo. I sure no-one will object, i have the resources, i just want the 'hell-ya' for support... I am going to buy a domain just for this right now and we can move all this information there.
